Steve "The Hungry" Guy has made a name for himself as one of the great and good in the Shropshire food world. As well as being a superb chef, he is a champion of making great food accessible to all - we're very lucky to have him on board for the evening creating a tasting menu that you will not forget.
7pm start with aperitifs on the lawn followed by a magical super in our Silver Birch Grove (weather permitting). Drinks are not included but may be purchased throughout the evening.
Steve Guy
Steve is not only an excellent chef but also an extraordinary campaigner. The sheer joy he gets out of cooking is visceral. He works as a personal chef, a food consultant and educator. He is closely involved with the Ludlow and Marches Slow Food Movement and was awarded the huge accolade of England's person of the Year 2023" awarded by the Slow Food Movement.
Steve also works with the Shrewsbury Food hub helping cook up surplus food, teach people how to cook and recently has been campaigning for hospitality in general.
He also worked for us for a year back in 2023, so we know him well! Steve actually cooked our very first outside supper back in 2023.

A shared wave menu
Steve will be cooking up a variety of dishes using vegetables and fruit that are growing in our field. This will not be entirely vegetarian. The supper will be several small courses and will take place in our magical lantern filled silver birch grove.
Alcohol and soft drinks will be available to purchase. Comfortable shoes essential and there are many uneven surfaces on the farm.
Our friendly spaniel Bale will be lurking around, she hates to miss these events.
If the weather is poor we will use our Loft as a back up, I'm afraid we are unable to offer refunds if it rains.
