This workshop is all about fermenting. We will talk about how fermenting works, the different processes, the science behind it plus the latest research around why you might want to add more fermented foods to your diet.

Friday 27th March  9.30am-1pm £55.

Arrive from 9.30am for a coffee and an introduction to fermenting which will start at 9.45.

Karen will demonstrate how to make kombucha and kefir

There will be a short break for coffee and a snack.

Following the break we will make some kimchi and sauerkraut. Please bring a few small jars (ideally 200-250ml) with you so you can take some kimchi home. There may also be some kefir grains and a scoby available (not guaranteed!).

You will depart with your own recipes of what we have prepared, and the confidence to start making ferments at home for yourself and your family.
