Forage and Field to Fork
Havenhills goes Wild - with Lucy Cooke
The day will start with a welcome chat followed by a walk around the local area where Lucy will search and explain the properties of various wild plants and how they can be used in the kitchen..
After the walk Lucy will lead a workshop demonstrating how to transform your wild food finds so that you can add a little bit of wild into your regular diet, as we now know a more diverse array of plants is great for the microbiome and boosts our health in any number of ways.
We will sit down together for a buffet lunch which will comprise various dishes using the best of the seasonal produce we grow at Havenhills with a touch of the wild about it using locally foraged ingredients.
After lunch there is an optional garden tour of the Havenhills Field.
