nGrowers club I have long harboured an ambition to put together a club for
vegetable growers to share experience\, gain knowledge and check that wha
t we are doing isn't totally mad...... and now - here it is: we will be ho
sting 5 sessions through the year at 2 monthly intervals and then in Decem
ber\, committed members will be able to join us for a free session where w
e will review the year\, talk in broad terms about what we have achieved a
nd make grand plans for the year ahead.... Growing your own food is fundam
ental to regaining food resilience - so let's do it! Please arrive promptl
y at 2.00 pm so you don't miss the fun Friday 20th February 2026 - what's
it all about: I don't want to be too prescriptive about how the afternoon
will go - but it will include the following:A quick tour of the market gar
den to see what's been going on recently and what's planned for the coming
couple of monthsA look at what to sow and plant in the early part of the
season and how best to do this - this will include some hands on work.Comp
osting and mulching A look at some specific tasks you might want to carry
out at this time of yearQ and A session - please bring along any questions
you have There will be a short break at half time for tea and cake Any pr
ofits that we make from these sessions will go towards our community outre
ach work including children's farm visits and community food projects that
